Pour House Fundraiser Results

A large, energetic crowd was on hand at the Pour House for our Fundraiser for TAKE CARE! featuring shows by Australian Trans-gender illusionist, SANDY BOTTOM.

20% of the Bar take between 8pm and Midnight was donated to the charity along with monies collected via our donation box. By the end of the evening 7165 Baht was spent at the Bar (20% or 1433 Baht was given to TAKE CARE!). Additionally, 2597 Baht was donated by our patrons bringing the total raised for TAKE CARE to 4030 Baht.

 The Pour House wants to thank Sandy Bottom  for donating her talents for charity and all of those who came out in support of TAKE CARE!

Take Care Event at The Pour House

Tuesday night, The Pour House held a charity event to raise funds for TAKE CARE!!, a local organization that provides Condoms for male sex workers in Pattaya to help prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS.

Entertainment for the evening included a local  Thai guitarist/vocalist  who performed a number of popular western songs followed by Australian "Female Illusionist" Sandy Bottom, who graciously donated his time for this special event.

Sandy wowed the crowd for over 90 minutes performing (in his own singing voice) songs from the 60's to the 80's. A powerful voice and an engaging personality, Sandy Bottom proved to be the highlight of the evening.

Due to the fact that July is the middle of the low season, the event was primarily attended by locals. The Pour House, who hosted the event, donated 20% of the bar revenue from 8pm - midnight.

The night generated 2073 baht for Take Care!!
